| UCLA's Kevin Love named Pac-10 men's basketball player of week
For the second time this season, UCLA's Kevin Love has been named the Pac-10 men's basketball player of the week.
The freshman center from Lake Oswego, Ore., helped the fourth-ranked Bruins improve to 4-0 in the Pac-10 play with wins over Washington and No. 8 Washington State last week.
Against the Huskies, Love had 11 points, seven rebounds and four assists while shooting 50.0% from the field and making all 4 of his free throws in the 69-55 victory.
In the Bruins' win against the Cougars, Love scored a season-high 27 points and added 14 rebounds for his eighth double-double of the year. He shot 9 for 12 from the field and 2 for 3 from 3-point range, while adding four assists and two blocked shots.
